Mary Viner is a growth, marketing strategy, and customer experience executive with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations understand their markets, strengthen their competitive position, and build strategies that drive business growth.
As VP of Strategy at MedSearch and Co-Founder of The Preference Bureau, Mary brings a complementary perspective to commercial and executive search. She helps life sciences companies connect their business growth objectives with the talent they need to achieve them, combining market intelligence, talent planning, employer positioning, and candidate attraction strategies to help organizations compete more effectively for the right people.
Before joining MedSearch, Mary served as Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Insights at Equifax Workforce Solutions, part of a multibillion-dollar global data and analytics company. There, she led marketing strategy, customer insights, market intelligence, and customer experience initiatives, working across complex business environments to inform strategic decisions and strengthen customer engagement. Earlier in her career, she led the U.S. digital organization for a global healthcare marketing agency, developing strategies and programs for life sciences and healthcare organizations.
Mary believes that attracting exceptional talent begins with understanding what makes an opportunity worth choosing. She works with leadership teams to provide clarity around what makes their organization different, understand how they compare in the talent market, and translate their strengths into a compelling reason for candidates to engage. Her approach connects organizational culture, business strategy, employer reputation, and the candidate experience to support more confident hiring decisions and stronger commercial teams.
Through The Preference Bureau and MedSearch, Mary is helping life sciences organizations take a more informed approach to talent strategy, positioning, attraction, and hiring.
